Andrew Akenson

Andy has been with Autodesk since 2007 and spent all of that time on the Inventor team. He has had a career-long passion for learning and bringing large legacy codebases into modern frameworks. His recent focus is on bridging desktop Inventor with Autodesk's Forge cloud platform primarily with the Design Automation service, working as both Software Architect for the team as well as Product Owner. He has been able to directly connect with customers on-site, at Accelerators, and at company events like Forge DevCon and Autodesk University to help them bring their existing automation investment into Forge for cloud-connected, cloud-scale workflows. When he is not working on the next new thing on the Inventor team, he enjoys traveling, hiking and skiing in Oregon and learning new songs on the guitar or spending time in his woodshop.
