Autodesk DevCon Europe Recap

Design Automation API for Fusion now generally available

The Design Automation API now includes the Fusion Scripting API and thus covers the entire design and manufacturing process. Tasks you traditionally scripted in your Fusion desktop client can now run at scale in the cloud without requiring any user interaction. Because it’s built entirely for the cloud, the Design Automation API can connect with your existing business systems and processes. This opens the door to complete, end-to-end workflows that boost speed, increase flexibility, and drive new business opportunities. Find out more

Autodesk Informed Design API is now in public beta

The Autodesk Informed Design API extends the capabilities of Informed Design to the cloud, allowing developers to read, write, and extend product design and manufacturing data. Announcing the general availability of the Autodesk Data Exchange Connector for Revit

This connector for Revit makes it easy to exchange subsets of data between Revit and other leading design and business applications. Whether you’re collaborating with teams using RhinoInventorDynamoTekla, and Power BI, this connector helps streamline coordination, analysis and visualization, improve documentation workflows, and simplify drawing creation through shared reference geometries and properties. Data Exchange Spring Updates-Including a new SDK release

The Data Exchange SDK team has provided a new version - 5.2.4-beta with stability and performance improvements. New GraphGL Automation and step-by-step tutorials are now available.  Read more

Update! Autodesk Partners with Srinsoft Inc. on BIMDeX Interoperability with Data Exchange

The Autodesk platform is growing more robust with the impressive work being done by Autodesk Platform Services (APS) partners Srinsoft, and their powerful portfolio of BIMDeX data connectors. The Srinsoft team has taken the next step in bringing their advanced workflows connecting Autodesk Plant3D, Trimble Tekla Structures, and Autodesk Revit into the Data Exchange ecosystem of connectors. Enhancing visibility: Introducing application-level API usage reporting

We are thrilled to announce the release of application-level API usage reporting on the Autodesk Platform Services (APS) website that will significantly enhance your ability to track API usage by application.  With the ability to track API usage of premium APIs, you will get greater granularity into your applications’ usage, enabling more informed resource allocation and cost management.
