Data Exchange Spring Updates – Including a new SDK Release

Updated .NET SDK 

The Data Exchange SDK team has provided a new version - 5.2.4-beta with stability and performance improvements. Highlights include new Mesh support from the SDK and there is also a new Progress Reporter utility to allow you to create custom progress details within your application. New GraphQL Automation functionality

The Data Exchange team has been continuously improving the GraphQL and SDK features. If you did not see the announcement for the new GraphQL Automation feature see here for details. It allows you to create new Data Exchanges from Revit files or the AEC Data Model using the GraphQL API. The DX team more recently introduced the ability to create exchanges from IFC as well and is also included in this new Automation functionality. See here for the API details for IFC publishing. As you may know, we are running “bootcamp” style webinars every quarter. This past quarter was about working with the Autodesk data models and included two sessions for Data Exchange GraphQL and the SDK. DevCon 2025

Data Exchange Connector for Revit is GA!

We also just released the Data Exchange connector for Revit as generally available (GA)! What does this mean? It has moved out of beta status and is now fully supported and stable. For the details, checkout this blog post.
