APS Developer Hub Setup and App Migration
February 18 was the deadline to enroll in a new Autodesk Platform Services offering and migrate your apps to a developer hub. Your API usage can be suspended unless you take action. This blog provides detailed steps for Team Administrators who manage Autodesk product subscriptions.
Data Model APIs Pricing and Flexible Options
In May 2026 (subject to change), pricing will be introduced for AEC Data Model APIs and Manufacturing Data Model APIs. All customers will continue to have limited access through the APS Free tier. If you have a qualifying Autodesk product subscription, you’ll receive included monthly API usage.
Tandem Webhook Events Released
Autodesk Tandem now supports the Webhooks API and provides dedicated events to support the development of automated workflows. Learn more about the Tandem-specific events that were recently released, with practical tips and examples.
Update to Data Exchange SDK .NET (7.1.0)
The Autodesk Platform Services (APS) Data Exchange SDK has been updated to Beta v7.1.0, bringing refinements that improve consistency, expand patterns for modern workflows, and smooth the developer experience.
Use GraphQL API from Fusion Desktop
When using the Fusion API, you can now perform operations with it on behalf of the user that is logged-in inside the product. APS now has a mfgdm:// protocol you can use to send requests to the Manufacturing Data Model API on behalf of the logged-in user. Find samples and documentation in this blog.
Autodesk Data Exchange Integration: inCitu AR
The inCituDX integration introduces a new interface for built-environment proposals. It enables connected, semantic, and georeferenced model publication, allowing BIM data to move seamlessly from cloud-based coordination environments into full-scale, real-world AR experiences.
Call for Feedback: Optimizing Model Derivative Extraction for 3D Polylines
We are discontinuing the extraction of individual Vertex Handle properties into the Model Derivative's Property Database (properties.db). If your application relies on Vertex - N: Handle properties extracted from the Model Derivative's Property Database via the /properties or /properties:query endpoints, you can share your feedback with the APS Developer Support Team.
Success Stories
Industrility and Autodesk Transform Aftermarket in Manufacturing
Industrility transformed parts ordering with a digital twin approach—and unlocked their data with APS APIs. They repurposed engineering data at scale to represent every machine they sold as an interactive model linked with real-world data. Check out the blog to see which APIs they used and how it all came together.
Athenian Brewery Puts Sustainability on Tap
Explore how Athenian Brewery, Greece’s largest brewery and a Heineken manufacturer, is using advanced data and digital twin technologies powered by Autodesk Platform Services APIs to reduce energy use, cut carbon emissions, and move toward net-zero operations.
ANDRITZ Unifies Teams and Data with Autodesk Construction Cloud
See how ANDRITZ Group used Autodesk Platform Services and Autodesk Construction Cloud to centralize and unify its engineering and project data across systems and disciplines, improving collaboration and achieving up to 85% faster data workflows.

Embed APS Viewer in AI Chats with MCP Apps
With MCP Apps, a tool can now pop up a fully interactive widget right in the chat window. This means we can embed APS Viewer directly inside an AI chat and 3D model viewers, property inspectors, and design dashboards can live right inside the conversation. See how it works in this blog.
