Design and Make Marketplace: Where Your Solutions Meet Industry Agentic AI Workflows

Design and Make Marketplace

At Autodesk DevCon 2026, we launched the Design and Make Marketplace – a new destination for AI solutions for architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and media and entertainment. For developers and innovators building tools for these industries, this is your distribution platform — not just for today’s users, but for the AI agents that will assemble workflows on their behalf.

If you’ve published applications and integrations on the Design and Make Marketplace before, you know the foundation. The marketplace is a substantial evolution of that experience, built for where the industry is heading.

Discovery Is Changing

Buyers used to search through a catalog. Increasingly, they won’t. AI agents will surface the right tool at the right moment, dynamically, as part of an in-workflow decision. That shift changes the stakes for developers. Being findable isn’t enough anymore. Your solution needs to be structured, validated, and legible to the systems making those calls. The marketplace is built for solutions to be discoverable by humans and by agents orchestrating workflows.

Certified Solutions Get Invoked, Not Just Listed

The marketplace isn’t an open directory. Before a solution can be listed, it goes through Autodesk’s quality and standards review  a framework that does two things:

  • It gives buyers confidence. They’re not evaluating unknown tools. They’re choosing from a validated ecosystem built for Design & Make.
  • It unlocks agent discoverability. At DevCon, we announced that Autodesk Assistant will be open to third-party MCPs and agents. Certified solutions on the marketplace will become eligible to be called by Autodesk Assistant — the AI orchestration layer embedded across products like Fusion, Revit, and more. That’s a genuinely new kind of distribution coming soon. Your solution doesn’t wait for a user to search. It shows up when Autodesk Assistant calls it as the right tool for the job.

New Foundational Capabilities

We’ve introduced new capabilities that refine the marketplace experience today and lay the infrastructure for agentic workflows. Here’s what’s live:

Improved discoverability

Solutions are now structured with richer, more consistent detail — comprehensive specs, categories, and clearly presented trial and pricing information. This generates more precise search results across hundreds of published solutions and makes it easier for customers to evaluate what fits their workflow. And it lays the groundwork for how agents will discover and invoke the right tool for a given job.

Subscriptions management

Customers can purchase multiple quantities of a subscription in a single checkout, then assign and reassign licenses to the right individuals* — with a clear view of assignment details and remaining seats. Teams can scale up what works without the overhead.

Streamlined installation

Customers can install only the specific product version they need, not the entire package. Less installation time, less memory overhead, more control over exactly what lands on their machine. For publishers, it’s a cleaner post-purchase experience with fewer drop-off points at the finish line.

Build for Agentic AI

The marketplace is open to every developer, MCP author, APS builder, and problem solver working in Design & Make. Publish your solutions on the marketplace, make them available to Autodesk Assistant and other agents, and scale your impact.
