CoolOrange is launching a new interoperability tool, powerSync, to automatically synchronize on-premises solutions such as Autodesk Vault, Inventor, and AutoCAD with the Autodesk Cloud Platform. powerSync uses advanced Autodesk Platform Services (APS) APIs to establish automated, reliable, and secure bidirectional workflow collaboration between disciplines and across long time horizons. Lagarsoft
Lagarsoft teamed up with a company to develop a Revit plugin that uses Autodesk's Design Automation API to convert AI-generated real estate projects, created with three.js, into detailed Revit models. The purpose of this plugin is to streamline the workflow, efficiently transforming conceptual designs into comprehensive architectural models ready for further development. CCTech
Check out how CCTech used Autodesk’s Data Exchange SDK to build a connector that brings live 3D model data directly into PowerPoint. Designers use their design software of choice to push model geometry to the data exchange. The PowerPoint user fetches the data, which appears as an interactive model in the slide—no design software license or experience required. And slides receive notifications when design updates are in progress and ready to be refreshed. Autodesk Docs customers can use this connector today. They have many other solutions across the AEC and Manufacturing industries, so be sure to check them out for a solution that might fit your needs!
nCircle
nCircle newest solution helps office building operators make better decisions. Building managers need to know about layouts, accessibility, space utilization. And they need all that data in one place, so they can make informed calls on pricing. They used the AEC Data Model API to sync building data to PowerBI to create dashboards with models at the center. Then they layered on ChatGPT to make it easy for non-technical users to run scenarios. Now, an operator can ask the bot to filter for space configurations, the size of furniture that can fit through doorways, and more. Chat with them about all this valuable data that they've made available at the moment of decision-making, for optimal business outcomes.
