Data Exchange in Model Coordination - Private Beta

Data Exchange helps teams share and use the right project data across Autodesk and third-party tools without having to exchange entire models. Instead of moving large files back and forth, teams can create focused, structured exchanges that contain only the relevant data needed for a specific workflow. This makes collaboration more efficient, reduces duplication, and helps project stakeholders work with up-to-date information across connected tools.

While Data Exchanges are not yet supported in Model Coordination, we are actively working on this integration and would like to invite you to join our Private Beta program. Participants will receive early access to new capabilities and have the opportunity to help shape the experience through direct feedback.

As part of the private beta you will be able to:

  • Aggregate Data Exchange in Model coordination along with other supported file formats

  • Run Clash Detection on Data Exchanges created with our latest Data Exchange Connector for Inventor

You can see a short preview of this functionality in our DevCon Presentation

To join the beta, please follow these steps:

  1. Join or log in to the Data Exchange Private Feedback Community

  2. Create a new Forma (ACC) project on the US hub.

  3. Submit your Project ID through the submission form after logging in to the Private Feedback Community.

Please note that this private beta is currently available only on the US hub. If you do not have access, let us know and we can set up a test project for you.

We look forward to your feedback. You can share it at any time through the Feedback Community User Forum after logging in, or by reaching out directly to: data.exchange.support@autodesk.com
