We are pleased to inform you about the general availability of the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Transmittals API: another Autodesk Docs-specific API!
The Transmittals tool in Autodesk Docs allows project admins and members to create and organize centralized records for sharing files with other team members or projects, with permission controls. Only authorized users can review these files, track different versions, and stay updated on the latest changes. This tool also helps manage communication records and file delivery centrally, enabling users to search based on sender or date. You can find information about the Transmittals tool feature in the product help.
In this first phase of the Transmittals API, we have released five (4) read-only endpoints. Using the API, you can retrieve the following data:
- GET transmittals: Get a list of transmittal records.
- GET transmittals/:transmittalId: Get a specific transmittal record by given ID.
- GET transmittals/:transmittalId/recipients: Get a list of recipients of a specific transmittal record.
- GET transmittals/:transmittalId/folders: Get a list of folders associated with the file versions ("documents") that are included in a specific transmittal record.
- GET transmittals/:transmittalId/documents: Get a list of file versions ("documents") that are included in a specific transmittal record.
