Autodesk Data Exchange connectors and SDK now support BIM 360
We are happy to announce that Data Exchanges can now be stored within BIM 360 Docs in addition to the original ACC Docs storage. Customers with existing BIM 360 projects can now utilize Autodesk Data Exchange to unlock coordination and collaboration workflows by simplifying data interoperability across multiple Autodesk and non-Autodesk applications.
By using a wide array of available Data Exchange connectors for desktop applications, customers can create packages of their data and share it with internal and external teams. As parts of the design change, Data Exchanges remain up to date with those changes creating an accurate, reliable, and secure way to share information.
BIM 360 support in Data Exchange connectors
With this release, any user with admin access to a BIM 360 project can:
- Use a supported Data Exchange connector to create an exchange and store it in the BIM 360 Docs project.
- View that exchange within BIM 360 Docs web viewer.
- Load an exchange that is stored within BIM 360 Docs within corresponding desktop application using a supported Data Exchange Connector.
