Save the date: Autodesk DevCon 2027 is coming to Barcelona

Where AI unlocks the future of Design and Make

AI has changed how technology and software solutions are designed, built, and used. For Design and Make industries, the opportunity now is to put that technology to work—applying AI to specialized data, industry workflows, and the tools people use every day.

Autodesk Platform Services (APS) is evolving to be AI-native. Developers, Autodesk software users, and domain experts can increasingly use AI to discover, interact with, execute, and manage APS capabilities. Whether through Autodesk Assistant or the LLM of your choice, APS is creating new ways to build with Autodesk technology, APIs, data, and Model Context Protocols (MCPs).

Autodesk DevCon 2027, taking place April 14–15 at the CCIB in Barcelona, is where you can explore what that means in practice.

Build, customize, automate, and innovate with AI

Autodesk DevCon brings together software developers, Autodesk software users, technology innovators, and business decision makers working across architecture, construction, engineering, operations, design and manufacturing.

More attendees than ever before from 50+ countries are expected to join us for two days of technical learning, industry insight, and collaboration.

The program will feature 50+ classes across multiple tracks, including beginner and low-code/no-code technical sessions, advanced technical classes, business programming, an AI Leadership Track, panels, meetups, and research sessions.

Topics will span Autodesk Assistant, MCPs, APIs, automation, Autodesk technology roadmaps, digital transformation, sustainability, and practical applications of AI across Design and Make industries.

Want to go deeper? AI workshops and hackathons are planned for April 13, the day before Autodesk DevCon begins. Details will be announced later.

For developers: Get closer to the technology

Go beyond the fundamentals with advanced classes, code samples, tutorials, demos, and direct access to Autodesk technical experts.

Explore APIs and MCPs, third-party integrations, interoperability, visualization, automation, AI-powered workflows, and applications built around Design and Make data, from digital twins and dashboards to configurators and catalogs.

Autodesk DevCon is also an opportunity to see emerging technology firsthand, including new releases, betas, and prototypes, and understand how they could shape what you build next.

For Autodesk software users: Turn ideas into better workflows

You don't have to be a professional developer to build something valuable with APIs and AI.

See how Autodesk Assistant, APS, MCPs, APIs, and low-code/no-code approaches can help you customize the way you work. Explore practical ways to automate processes, make better use of the data in your Autodesk software, integrate systems, and create applications around the outcomes your teams need.

You'll also be able to learn from real-world implementations, meet Autodesk product experts, and explore solutions from technology partners.

For business decision makers: Understand what's next, and what to do with it

AI has moved from an emerging technology discussion to an enterprise strategy imperative.

At Autodesk DevCon, business and technology leaders can examine the AI and industry trends affecting Design and Make, hear how organizations are approaching digital transformation, and explore where AI, APIs, and enterprise data can create meaningful business value.

Past Autodesk DevCon programming has brought perspectives from organizations such as The Economist and Forrester to help illuminate the forces shaping industries and technology. For 2027, we also plan to bring together strategic partners that can provide perspective on enterprise-level AI solutions for Design and Make.

The goal is practical: understand where the technology is going, what others are learning, and where it can make a difference in your organization.

Explore an expanding AI ecosystem for Design and Make

APS is helping connect a growing ecosystem of AI-powered experiences across Design and Make.

Autodesk Assistant is creating new ways to engage with Autodesk technology. MCPs are opening new possibilities for AI-powered applications and workflows. And the Design and Make Marketplace provides a home for apps, integrations, and AI solutions that can reach Autodesk customers.

At Autodesk DevCon, you'll get closer to these technologies and to the developers, industry experts, Autodesk teams, and technology partners putting them to work.
