New version available for Autodesk® Data Connector for Power BI

We are pleased to announce an update for the “Autodesk® Data Connector for Power BI”. This version (v2.0.9) includes

1. Support for Reference Parameters - Levels and base constraints are now retrieved when loading exchanges into Power BI and available in the "Advanced Parameters" dropdown through “Use Filters” option.
2. Seamless update behavior - Dashboard updates are now triggered by ‘Refresh’ button.
3. Improved Performance - ~90% faster project/navigation times
4. Bug Fixes

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

The previous version of “Autodesk® Data Connector for Power BI” (v2.0.8) will stop functioning correctly on Jan 3, 2025.
We strongly recommend upgrading to the new version of this connector (v2.0.9)

If you cannot upgrade, you can add a security exception for the 2.0.8 version of this connector, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Open Power BI à Click File Menu à Click “Options and Settings” from bottom-left corner
2. Click “Options”
3. Click "Security” in “Global” à Select “Allow any extension to load without validation or warning” radio button
4. Click “OK” and restart Power BI.
