What We Are Looking For

To submit a winning proposal, make sure it aligns with the following criteria:

  1. Align with DevCon Themes

We want real implementations that show how to deliver value with AI and APS across the Autodesk ecosystem—grounded in Sustainability, Digital Transformation, and System Integration.  The top themes for DevCon 2026 include:

  • AI (Assist, Augment, & Automate)

  • Digital Transformation

  • Sustainability

  • Autodesk Platform Services (APS)

  • APIs, Automation, and Enterprise Integrations

  1. Show Relevance to Autodesk Products

Your proposal should highlight the integration of APS with Autodesk products like  Fusion, Forma, and ACC, and demonstrate real-world workflows.

  1. Be Specific and Action-Oriented

Clearly state what attendees will learn. For example: “In this session, you will learn  how to integrate APS APIs with ERP systems to streamline workflows.”

Avoid vague promises and define tangible takeaways. Attendees are looking for  solutions to business or technical challenges, not marketing pitches.

  1. Tell a Story with Business/Technical Depth

Include the problem or challenge (why), the solution (how), and the tools/results.  Attendees value practical insights, demos, and code samples over theory.

  1. Craft a Clear, Compelling Title & Abstract

Ensure your title is descriptive and intriguing, not overly clever. Your abstract should  summarize the session focus, relevance, and outcomes in 150–300 words.  Reviewers need to be convinced by your class title and the first line of the  description.

  1. Match Audience Level & Session Type

Indicate the technical depth (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and choose the  right format: technical talk, business case, or panel.

  1. Follow CFP Guidelines Strictly

  • Submit by the deadline (December 28, 2025).
  • Limit to 3 proposals per speaker.
  • Provide all required details: bio, AV needs, co-speaker info.
  • Include how a reviewer can reach out to you for clarification.

Tips for Submitting a Good Proposal

There are a few tips we can share from past class submissions that may help with your proposal.

  • Use an active voice and avoid jargon.

  • Include measurable results or case studies.

  • Link to prior talks or GitHub repos for credibility.

  • Proofread for clarity and adherence to word limits.
