Inside the Paris APS & AI Accelerator: How Collaboration Turned Ideas into Prototypes

In just five days, bold ideas became working prototypes at the Paris APS Accelerator-where industry leaders, developers, and innovators joined forces to push the boundaries of digital transformation in construction, engineering, and manufacturing.

Developers in meeting room

At a glance

28 participants from top firms worked side by side with Autodesk experts.
Rapid prototyping: Teams shipped functional demos in days, not months.
AI adoption surged: Six projects integrated AI tools-up from just one in the previous accelerator.
Vibe Coding enabled accelerated development for seasoned and non-professional developers alike.

What we built in five days

  • Teams tackled high impact use cases that are reshaping the industry
  • AI powered solutions: From onboarding assistants to sustainability analytics, AI sat at the core of many workflows.
  • Seamless integration: Connecting Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) with third party platforms unlocked real efficiency gains.
  • Sustainability focus: Carbon footprint reduction and lifecycle analysis emerged as consistent priorities.

Voices from the accelerator

"The Autodesk Accelerator was a highly inspiring and hands-on experience for us as a partner. Together with Autodesk’s APS experts, we were able to turn two conceptual use cases into tangible solutions in a very short time. The close collaboration and technical depth made this accelerator extremely valuable and motivating for our team and goal."
Frank Otto - N+P

"Along with getting our APS-related development accelerated, my key interest before the event was to experience the knowledge of Autodesk personnel hands-on, at which the expectations were met if not exceeded. Combined with the strong partnership between the companies, the individual-level contact that the event enabled raises interesting opportunities and I'll be looking forward to all the future collaboration. Full recommendations from me for the event!"
Jere Lampola, ARKANCE

“The hands-on collaboration, expert guidance, and networking at the Accelerator truly accelerated our project and inspired new ideas for future use-cases. The event is valuable not only for companies starting with APS, but also for those already using it and seeking to improve or develop new PoCs for innovative use cases.”
Josha von Reij, Arcadis

"Participating in the Accelerator was a real game-changer as we transformed our concept into a working prototype in just a few days and saw how quickly APS tools can helps our workflows to stay in the Autodesk ecosystem. The Autodesk team and fellow developers were incredibly supportive, and even without deep development experience we managed to build a demo that connects BIM and lifecycle carbon analysis. Even if you don’t have a strong coding background, the Accelerator gives you the support, guidance, and tools you need to make real progress and there are always workarounds, and the team helps you navigate every challenge so you can focus on achieving your goals."
Grégoire Courchel, Suez Consulting

"This week with the Autodesk APS team allowed us to build new features fully aligned with our real-world workflows, while getting support to tackle our key technical challenges. It was great to step out of the office and work in such an inspiring setting in the heart of Paris. And sharing insights with the other participants made the experience even better."

Why it matters

Across the week, we saw how Autodesk Platform Services (APS) + AI can accelerate delivery, lift barriers for teams with limited coding experience, and make sustainability actionable. Signals of where the industry is headed next. And on that note…

What to expect in 2026

The Paris Accelerator proved that collaboration drives innovation and we’re just getting started. With DevCon 2026 in April 15-16 and our Barcelona Accelerator on May 18-22, now is the time to explore how APS and AI can transform your workflows.
