Important Prerequisites:
-
You can only create a Developer Hub on an Autodesk team that has an active Flex subscription or an enterprise contract with Autodesk(T-Flex subscription). Please double-check your team’s entitlements and create the hub under your subscribed team to ensure platform access and avoid service interruptions
-
Only a Primary/Secondary team can create a hub
-
Available starting October 1st
Important Disclaimers:
-
APS Developer Hubs will be visible in the ACC Admin interface IF the user accessing that interface is the administrator of both ACC Hubs and APS Developer Hub.
-
PLEASE IGNORE the developer hub UI in the ACC Admin interface.
-
You should only be using the Developer Hub on aps.autodesk.com
-
The APS developer hub UI in the ACC Admin interface will be removed soon
-
-
The bulk move applications feature ONLY shows applications assigned to the Team where the hub was created
-
This means that if your application is assigned to a different team the bulk move applications feature will not include that application
-
Step 1: Navigate to the Hubs Page
- Log in to your Autodesk account(manage.autodesk.com)
- Click Products and Services
- Click Hubs
Step 2: Initiate Hub Creation
- Click the Create Hub button
Step 3: Set Up Your New Hub
- In the hub creation dialog:
- Select APS developer hub as your Product
- Fill in the required fields, including:
- Hub Name (e.g., “EBA Engineering Hub”)
- Description (optional but recommended for clarity)
Step 4: Create & Activate the Hub
- Review your entries, then click Create & Activate.
- Once the hub is created, refresh the page
- Click the hub name and you will be redirected to the developer portal
Step 5: Invite Team Members
- From your Hub’s Admin panel, start inviting developers and admins
- Assign appropriate roles to ensure everyone has the right access and permissions for migration and ongoing management.
Step 6: Move Applications into the Hub
If you’re a hub admin, you can use the Bulk Move App feature, available on the Developer Portal. This tool identifies all applications on the Flex or EBA team that have not yet been moved to a hub. You can select one or multiple applications and move them into your new Developer Hub in just a few clicks, centralizing management for your team.
Keep in mind:
The Bulk Move App only displays applications already assigned to the team with the EBA contract or the Flex subscription. If an application is not yet associated with the EBA contract, you have two options:
- Option 1: Change the application’s Team Assignment to the EBA or Flex team, then ask your hub admin to move it using the Bulk Move feature.
- Option 2: As a developer, you can move your individual application directly by using the “Move App” action on the Developer Portal.
This flexibility ensures all your critical applications are transitioned efficiently into your new hub, regardless of their original contract or team assignment.
