Autodesk Takeoff API: deprecating measurementType in classification systems

Autodesk is continuing to update and enhance construction products and their APIs. As we evolve the Takeoff specific endpoints for classification systems, we will be removing the optional measurementType field from the following endpoints: 

•    POST classification-systems 
•    GET classification-system/:system_id/classifications  
•    POST classification-system/:system_id/classification:import  

Actions Required

If your application uses the measurementType field in the response payload or you are providing the value of measurementType in the import request body, you will need to update your usage to exclude this optional field by September 15, 2025. Applications that continue to reference the measurementType field or provide the value of measurementType after this date will fail.

Note that the measurementType field is currently optional, and this change will remove this field entirely from the endpoints listed above.
