We’re pleased to inform you that AEC Data Model is now available in Australia region and in the trial version of Autodesk Docs.
AEC Data Model in Australia Region
AEC Data Model is promised to be a future of AECO Data. Last week, Autodesk announced the availability of AEC Data Model with the data stored in Australia region.
Using AEC Data Model API in Australia region is the same as other existing regions except the region code "AUS". Please refer to our previous blog post, AEC Data Model API - Technical Resources, about technical information on how to get started with API.
Here are a few notes to use AEC Data Model in Australia region.
- First, you need to activate AEC Data Model in your ACC Australia hub. Login to acc.aus.autodesk.com >> goto Account Admin >> Settings, press "activate" under AEC Data Model:
- For GraphQL queries, you need to specify the region as "AUS" in the header. The default region is US. If you don't explicitly specify AUS as region, your query will fail. The image below shows where you set a region header in the AEC Data Model Explorer tool:
AEC Data Model in Trial Version of Autodesk Docs
Additionally, AEC Data Model is now made available for the trial version of Autodesk Docs and Docs-based products. This will make it easier for you to experiment the API when you do not have a development environment to try out.
