Gus Quade

Gus Quade is a Senior Technical Specialist at Autodesk focused on helping manufacturers solve complex operational and data challenges through integrations, automation, and modern user experiences. With a background in mechanical engineering across automation, medical devices, and industrial equipment, Gus brings firsthand industry experience to his work integrating PLM, QMS, MES, and PDM. Prior to Autodesk, he drove product development and manufacturing improvements at companies including Mikron Automation, Ice-O-Matic, and Gilson, where he led initiatives spanning CAD/PDM management, cost optimization, validation procedures, automation systems, and simulation-driven engineering. Today, Gus specializes in building practical solutions through Chrome extensions, custom add-ins, APIs, MQTT-enabled architectures, and Tandem Connects IPaaS integrations, with a strong focus on BOM transformation, factory operations visualization, and connected manufacturing workflows. He is especially passionate about leveraging AI-assisted development to rapidly prototype and deliver tools that simplify enterprise integrations and improve how teams interact with engineering and operational data.
