Overview
These APIs provide Administrators of teams with Business Success Plan benefits access to usage reporting and export data for their Business Plan teams.
The Usage Query API provides seat usage reporting data for Single User Subscriptions and token consumption reporting data for Flex Subscriptions.
The Export Usage API provides daily seat usage and token consumption by end-user by product for Business Plan teams.
Common Use Cases
Usage Query API:
- Extract all reporting information and measures found in the Autodesk Account Reporting suite.
- Generate customized reporting to fulfill your company’s specific business needs.
- Produce a usage report tailored to any desired custom date, that is, not limited to the pre-defined time periods (e.g., Last 3 months) found in Autodesk Account.
- Focus reporting to filter on specific products and/or product versions.
- Produce reporting to include usage measures, such as frequency of use by product.
Export Usage API:
- Extract the underlying daily reporting data available within the Autodesk Account Export feature.
- Retrieve export files for Single User Subscription and Flex token consumption.
- Generate a customized CSV export file that can be used to refresh an in-house reporting database on your desired schedule (e.g., daily, weekly).
- Apply a custom date range to the exported files.
- Use the export to build reporting that merges end-users’ data from both the Single User Subscription and Flex models into a single view.
- Use export to generate session level export for Single User Subscription and Flex models.
- Get a list of previously submitted export files.
- Get the status of a previously submitted export files.
