This section outlines the steps you need to take to publish your extension on the Autodesk App Store.
Getting ready for publishing
Before you begin the publishing process, you need to:
- Ensure that your extension refers to public production URLs.
- Verify that the design of your extension complies with the design guidelines.
- Email us at email, we will enable the publishing experience for your extension.
Publishing steps
Once the publishing experience for your extension is enabled, follow these steps:
- Visit the extension management and click on the extension you want to publish.
- Scroll down to the “Presentation (App Store)” on the edit page and click the “Manage Presentation” button; this will redirect you to the new Autodesk App Store publisher interface (The Interface is subject to change):
- Complete the form by filling in the required information. The form consists of several steps:
- After you’ve completed the above steps and your extension is ready to be accessible to all Forma users; click “Submit” at the last step. We recommend previewing your changes (your old extension card will load all the new changes) before submission.

Review process
To maintain the quality of our ecosystem, we’ll perform verification of the extension. During this review, our main objective is to ensure your app has the best possible start. We’ll test the functionality, review the documentation, and provide feedback on any potential user experience improvements. We will let you know within a few days via email if we need more information from you.
Once approved, your extension will be registered as published.
