    The Design Automation API enforces the following quotas per application:

    • 744 hours of processing time per calendar month (no rollover)
    • Five requests per minute (no rollover)

    Related to WorkItems, the API enforces the following limits:

    • Total time spent downloading input files cannot exceed 3 minutes.
    • Total time spent uploading output files cannot exceed 3 minutes.
    • Number of input files cannot exceed 60.
    • Number of output files cannot exceed 60. If the Arguments.OutputArguments.ResourceKind attribute is set to a value of Variadic, the number of output files can be increased to, but cannot exceed, 300.
    • Total amount of input data cannot exceed 30 MB (31,457,280 bytes).
    • Total amount of output data cannot exceed 30 MB (31,457,280 bytes).
    • Processing time without heartbeat (any activity on standard output) cannot exceed one minute.
    • Total processing time cannot exceed 5 minutes.
