Learn how to integrate IoT data into your model with new Data Visualization extensions

New Viewer extension

Autodesk is thrilled to announce the new Forge Viewer Data Visualization extensions are now available as a public beta!

These extensions allow you to easily create a Digital Twin using the Forge Viewer. From adding sensors into your model to heatmap shaders on objects that help visualize temperature, CO2 or people movements to indicators of equipment maintenance status—all of this and more is now possible with these new extensions.

How can I get started?

We have crafted a reference architecture using React as the UI framework and Azure time-series database adapters to ease the development time. This super sample along with the exhaustive documentation created will enable you to quickly learn how to leverage the Data Visualization extensions to build powerful Digital Twin experiences. The enhanced documentation will be your guide to integrate IoT data with your design model with easy-to-follow steps and several code samples.

Who is this for?

If you need to visualize historical or real-time data into your models to obtain context and make better business decisions, this is for you!
