Autodesk is investing in data infrastructure

For customers to fully adopt our Design and Make Platform, they need to be confident in how and where their project data is primarily stored. To give customers greater control of their data and help optimize performance, we are investing in our global infrastructure and bringing new data storage options across a wider range of services.

Regional options are available today

For eligible services*, you can select any of the following primary storage regions for your covered content: United States, European Union (EU), and Australia.

“Covered content,” also commonly referred to as “project data,” consists of  1) files, designs, models, data sets, images, documents, tasks, schedules, or similar material submitted or uploaded to the service by users, and 2) the specific output generated from use of the service, if any, based on the user’s own raw data or information.

Autodesk is looking ahead

We will continue to evolve our regional data storage strategy. In keeping with our commitment to transparency, updates to our regionalization strategy will be communicated through our regular channels when available.
