Ben Cochran

Ben Cochran is Vice President, Developer Enablement at Autodesk. He leads global teams that build platform technologies to accelerate software development and cultivate a thriving external developer ecosystem. 

With deep expertise in distributed systems, high-speed rendering technologies, core platform services, and public APIs, Ben has been instrumental in advancing Autodesk’s cloud platform and next-generation design tools. A strong advocate of servant leadership and collaboration at scale, he is known for solving complex technical and architectural problems through team development, cross-functional alignment, and forward-thinking engineering strategies. He is passionate about integrating generative AI and intelligent systems throughout the product ecosystem to amplify teams’ creativity and productivity.  

Ben is also an accomplished inventor with multiple patents related to rendering optimization, application deployment, geometry-based scaling, interactive client technologies, caching strategies, and compression optimization.
