New ways to bundle your APS usage
As Autodesk Platform Services (APS) evolves and improves the capabilities offered to customers and partners, we also evolve the way we package and price those capabilities. For this reason, we are launching a new pricing pilot.
We are looking for your feedback on the new packaging and pricing.

Get to know the new pricing
Autodesk Platform Services (APS) will be piloting new pricing.
- Countries included: UK, Italy, and Spain
- Pilot start date: 5 May 2025
- Select endpoints from 3 APIs are being repackaged
- Two types of pricing are available, based on eligibility:
- Pay-per-call: this is for customers without an existing subscription to Autodesk software
- Subscription plans: this is for customers with an existing subscription to Autodesk software but who do not have an Enterprise Business Agreement (EBA) with Autodesk
API endpoints in the pilot
Select endpoints from the following three APIs are part of this pilot:

Data Management API GET

Introducing pay-per-call pricing
Pay-per-call pricing applies to customers who do not have existing subscriptions to Autodesk software. These customers are not eligible for the subscription plans. The pay-per-call pricing uses tokens that you pre-purchase to access the following API endpoints.
Pay-per-call APIs and endpoints |
Costs (tokens) | Value per token |
Data Management API GET
|
1 | 2,000 API calls |
BIM 360 Issues API GET calls | 1 | 1,000 API calls |
ACC Issues API GET calls | 1 | 1,000 API calls |
All other endpoints associated with these endpoints are free.
Introducing subscriptions
During this pilot, subscription eligibility* is for customers in the UK, Spain, or Italy, who have an existing subscription to Autodesk software, and who do not have an Enterprise Business Agreement (EBA).
The following thresholds determine whether you enroll in a free or paid subscription. Customers with usage below these thresholds will automatically be enrolled in free subscriptions. Customers with usage above these thresholds may participate in the paid subscription plan at the cost of 3,260 GBP / 3,725 EUR per month**. If you are at or above the threshold, we will reach out to you directly to participate in the pilot, and we do not anticipate any disruption in service. If you meet the criteria for the paid subscription but choose not to participate, your access to these endpoints under the free subscription plan may be restricted if you hit the monthly usage cap.
- Data Management API GET - 2,000,000 API calls per month
- Endpoint 1: Get Folder Details
- Endpoint 2: Get Folder Contents
- Endpoint 3: Search folder hierarchy
- ACC Issues API GET endpoint – 300,000 API calls per month
- BIM 360 Issues API GET endpoint – 1,000,000 API calls per month
* Eligibility: Autodesk reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, who is eligible to participate in this pilot. You may only access and use the APIs in this pilot for your internal business use pursuant to the Autodesk General Terms of Use.
** For the duration of the pilot, pricing per month is 3,260 GBP / 3,725 EUR. Other currencies may be supported, and any corresponding currency conversion rate as of the pilot launch date will be applied to the pilot pricing.
FAQ
When will I be charged for these new endpoints if I'm part of the pay-per-call pilot?
When will I be charged for these new endpoints if I'm part of the pay-per-call pilot?
On 5 May 2025, the select API endpoints will be available to customers on a pay-per-call basis, similar to the normal Autodesk Platform Services pay-per-result Design Automation and Model Derivative APIs. This means that on a future date you will begin to incur charges on a pay-per-call basis if you use any of the specified endpoints. This only applies to customers who do not have an existing Autodesk software subscription.
Who is eligible for the monthly subscriptions?
Who is eligible for the monthly subscriptions?
Monthly subscriptions in this pilot are available to existing Autodesk customers who are located in the UK, Spain, and Italy who do not have an Enterprise Business Agreement (EBA). Existing Autodesk customers are any person or company with one or more existing subscriptions to Autodesk software products. For instance, if you are an independent service provider who only uses Autodesk Platform Services to integrate your application with Autodesk Construction Cloud, you will be charged for select API endpoints on a pay-par-call basis. See the pricing chart above.
How can I monitor my usage of these API endpoints?
How can I monitor my usage of these API endpoints?
To help you understand and monitor your usage, we will be providing more visibility into your API usage on the APS website. These resources will be available at a later date. For customers on the free tier subscription plan, we will also be emailing admins when their team's monthly usage approaches the free tier usage cap for any of the impacted APIs.
